One thing that is more sensative to light and air than photo chemicals is
wine. So, most wine bottles block damageing light pretty well. They are also
strong and are designed to be poured from. So, go buy a magnum or two and
drink the wine. Days later... rinse very carefully and fill with your photo
chemicals.
The next problem is how to get and keep the air out. Well, if you've ever
drank wine that was opened a day or more ago, you'll know this is bigger
problem in wine that photo chemicals. So, when you are buying those magnums in
that fine wine store, buy something called a VacuVin. It is a small hand pump
and some semi-hollow rubber corks. Stuff the rubber corks in the opening of
the wine bottle, put the pump over top of it, and pump all the air out. The
pressure from outside will keep the rubber cork sealed until you gently
squeeze it on the sides.
Now you can keep air and light from you photo chemicals and, the even more
valuable, wine.
It's about as simple and foolproof as you can get.
